Tribune Media news/talk WGN AM 720 may be the official radio home of the Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks, but that isn’t stopping other stations from celebrating, too.

On Monday night, Cumulus Media alternative rock WKQX FM 101.1 renamed itself “101WCoachQX,” unveiling a new logo that incorporates the familiar mustache of Blackhawks Coach Joel “Coach Q” Quenneville.

“We’re proud to salute the Blackhawks for their amazing three-time Stanley Cup win,” program director P.J. Kling said in a statement. “'101WCoachQX' is honoring the team by continuing to play the altern — correction: HAWKternative music that our audience loves.”

The temporary imaging is expected to last through the end of the week.

In the latest Nielsen Audio survey, WKQX tied for 14th place with a 3.0 percent share and cumulative weekly audience of 1,323,300. Among men between 18 and 34, the station ranked second with a 6.8 share and 263,000 cume.
