It seems that I mixed up Sherry Williams, a weekend news anchor from Houston, with Sharrie Williams, a weekend news anchor from Dallas.

In my post last week on the morning news anchor vacancy at WBBM-Channel 2, I identified Sherry Williams, weekend anchor at CBS affiliate KHOU-TV in Houston, as one of the candidates who'd come through the CBS 2 newsroom. I should have reported that it was Sharrie Williams, weekend anchor at CBS-owned KTVT-TV in Dallas.

"I haven't spoken or visited w/anyone in Chicago," Sherry Williams tweeted Saturday. "Robert, U got some 'splaining 2 do."

Hope this clears everything up.
